Exploratorium Explainers -

You'll find no tour guides giving lectures at the Exploratorium. What you will find are young high school explainers who are adept at the fine art of teaching and learning at the same time. Explainers are trained and supported by Exploratorium staff scientists
and educators.

Exploratorium Exhibits -

The museum features over seventy interactive seeing exhibits that focus on how people interpret the world through their eyes and their own subjectivity. Explore the puzzling questions of electricity, motion, and temperature at more than thirty life science exhibits. Experiment with thinking and feeling at Mind, an array 40-plus exhibits that shed light on the experience of our inner lives.

Listen: Making Sense of Sound provides opportunities to check out perceptions of sound through interactive, ears only exhibits. In addition, the Tactile Dome offers a sensory adventure in total darkness while the Exhibit Cam and Roof Cam deliver great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
